You will work closely with our founder and partner, Sofia Edvardsen, one of Sweden’s leading experts in IT and compliance law, and take on a central role in how we deliver modern business-oriented legal advice.

The role

As an Associate with us, you will work in workflows where your role is to analyse, quality-assure and develop legal deliverables.

This means that you will:

• review and verify legal material (including AI-assisted content)
• ensure correct application of law, sources and reasoning
• identify risks, gaps and areas for improvement
• contribute to developing how legal work is performed using technology
• develop the firm’s knowledge base and commercial opportunities

The role involves less focus on manual production and greater emphasis on analysis, judgement, quality and follow-up.

Responsibilities

As an Associate, you will, among other things:

• conduct legal research and analyse legal issues
• review, develop and quality-assure contracts, terms and policies
• support contract negotiations and client interactions
• assist in assignments as Data Protection Officer
• contribute to the development of the firm’s knowledge base and AI-supported workflows
• contribute to the development and dissemination of Swedish best practice in AI and Privacy Governance through the firm’s work with IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals)

About you

We are looking for a recently qualified lawyer or someone with up to a few years of experience from a law firm, company or similar environment.

You have:

• a Swedish law degree (LL.M. or equivalent)
• strong analytical ability and sound legal judgement
• a demonstrated interest in business law, IT law and technology

It is an advantage if you:

• are experienced in reviewing and quality-assuring legal material
• have used AI tools in your studies or work
• have a background in economics, technology or another business-related field
