Our work includes AI development and implementation, cloud services, GDPR, SaaS agreements and digital business models, advising both fast-growing tech companies and established international groups.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"md-end-block md-p md-focus\"><span class=\"md-plain\">You will join a high-performing specialist environment with a clear focus on quality, judgement and efficient delivery. Our focus is on business value, quality and innovation rather than traditional manual document production.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1>The role<\/h1>\n<p class=\"md-end-block md-p md-focus\"><span class=\"md-plain md-expand\">As an Associate, you will be an integral part of our client teams. You will work closely with partners and colleagues on ongoing matters and be involved throughout the process \u2013 from understanding the client\u2019s business and objectives to analysing, structuring and delivering practical legal solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">We use tools to reduce unnecessary routine work and focus instead on high-quality legal analysis, risk assessment and business-oriented legal advice. You will be given early responsibility for substantive legal work \u2013 including reviewing AI-assisted material \u2013 and are expected to progressively develop your legal judgement and take responsibility for the quality of your work.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"md-end-block md-heading md-focus\"><span class=\"md-pair-s md-expand\"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">Key responsibilities<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-pair-s \"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">Business law advisory:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span class=\"md-plain\"> Prepare and contribute to legal research and analyse legal issues within IT law, data protection (GDPR), intellectual property\/licensing and commercial contracts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-pair-s \"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">Quality assurance and advisory work:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span class=\"md-plain\"> Review and develop legal deliverables, ensuring a high standard of legal quality in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-pair-s \"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">Client interaction and negotiations:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span class=\"md-plain\"> Support partners in contract negotiations and participate in client interactions alongside senior lawyers and relevant client stakeholders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-pair-s \"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">Compliance:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span class=\"md-plain\"> Contribute to the development of best practice in AI governance and privacy, including through collaboration with international networks such as IAPP.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p md-focus\"><span class=\"md-pair-s \"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">Business development:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span class=\"md-plain md-expand\"> Contribute to the firm\u2019s growth by developing our knowledge base and supporting broader business development initiatives.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1 class=\"md-end-block md-heading md-focus\"><span class=\"md-pair-s md-expand\"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">About you<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">We are looking for someone who combines strong legal fundamentals with a genuine interest in how technology is transforming business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">You are ambitious, curious, proactive and motivated to develop in complex legal work.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-pair-s\"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">You have:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">A Swedish law degree (LL.M. or equivalent) with strong academic results<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">0\u20132 years of experience from a law firm, in-house legal team or relevant authority (e.g. IMY, PTS)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">A strong interest in IT law, the tech sector and compliance<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">The ability to work in a structured manner and contribute to high-quality deliverables<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">Excellent written and spoken Swedish and English<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">The ability to work independently while involving others at the right time<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-pair-s\"><strong><span class=\"md-plain\">It is an advantage if you:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">Have experience of, or a strong interest in, AI tools and legal tech<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"md-end-block md-p\"><span class=\"md-plain\">Have a background in economics or technology, providing a deeper understanding of clients\u2019 business environments<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"md-end-block md-p md-focus\"><span class=\"md-plain md-expand\">Above all, you are curious and proactive in learning.
